PARTY MEATBALLS
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- 2 c. quick-cooking oats
- ½ tsp. pepper
- 1 c. finely chopped onion
- 3 lbs. ground beef
- 2 tsp. salt
SAUCE:
- 2 c. ketchup
- 1½ c. packed brown sugar
- ½ c. chopped onion
In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, oats, onion, salt, powders, and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into balls. Place in foil-lined baking dishes. Combine the three sauce ingredients; pour over meatballs. Bake, uncovered, at 325°F for 1 hour or until meat is no longer pink.
YIELD: approximately 50
